2024 Lexus GX 550 Premium Review Better than a G Wagon?

This is the 2024 Lexus GX550 and it has a ladder frame, running gear, and a powertrain that is very similar to the LX600, however, it has been completely redesigned for 2024 and is a considerable improvement over the GX470, which was almost ready to star on the Antiques Roadshow.

Meet the **2026 Toyota C-HR** — a compact electric SUV with 338 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and a 0–60 mph time of just 4.4 seconds. Yes, really. Toyota has turned its once-sensible little crossover into something that can accelerate like a scalded cat. But is this the first proper electric hot hatch? Or is it simply a quick crossover wearing sporty clothes? In this **2026 Toyota C-HR review**, we put Toyota's new electric SUV to the test, looking at its performance, handling, driving range, charging speeds, interior, rear-seat space, cargo capacity, and value for money. 🚗 **WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE 2026 TOYOTA C-HR** ⚡ **Performance:** 338 hp, dual-motor AWD and 0–60 mph in 4.4 seconds. 🔋 **Electric range:** Up to 287 miles for the SE and 273 miles for the XSE. 🔌 **Charging:** NACS charging port, DC fast charging up to 150 kW, and an 11-kW onboard AC charger. 🛋️ **Interior:** A 14-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, physical controls, and available suede and SofTex upholstery. 📦 **Cargo space:** Up to 60 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. 💰 **Pricing:** Starting at $39,000, with our XSE tester coming in at $42,979 as tested. ### IS THE TOYOTA C-HR A REAL ELECTRIC HOT HATCH? The C-HR certainly has the acceleration. Its dual-motor powertrain delivers instant punch, making freeway merges and overtaking almost embarrassingly easy. But the steering lacks feedback, there's noticeable body roll, and push it too hard through corners and the front tires start to complain. Still, with striking styling, a well-equipped cabin, useful cargo space, and competitive electric range, the C-HR makes a compelling case for itself. It's not quite a true EV hot hatch. But Toyota is getting dangerously close. **Would you buy the 2026 Toyota C-HR, or would you choose another electric SUV? The 2027 Lexus NX is far more than a typical model-year update. Lexus has changed almost everything — the powertrains, transmission, exterior design, interior, steering, suspension, brakes, technology and more. For 2027, the Lexus NX is 100% electrified, with two powertrain choices: the NX 350h hybrid and NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid. The new NX is available in Premium, Premium Plus, F Sport and Luxury trims, with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive availability depending on the powertrain and trim. Inside, the 2027 Lexus NX gets a dramatically redesigned cabin featuring a huge 14-inch Lexus Interface touchscreen, a smaller steering wheel, new compact gear selector, ambient lighting, wireless charging, heated and ventilated seats, and — because apparently luxury cars now need to smell luxurious — three available cabin fragrances. There's also a surprisingly useful new feature: a built-in drive recorder/dash cam that can continuously record what's happening around the vehicle. Outside, the NX gets a redesigned spindle grille, integrated headlights, new L-shaped lighting signatures, a horizontal rear light bar and Lexus lettering across the back. The NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid is expected to offer around 40 miles of electric range, along with DC fast charging. Lexus has also worked on the transition between EV and hybrid driving to make the powertrain smoother and quieter. So, is the 2027 Lexus NX a major step forward, or has Lexus made an already good SUV unnecessarily complicated? Let us know what you think in the comments. 2027 Lexus NX First Look: Lexus Changed EVERYTHING!

The 2027 Audi S6 Sportback e-tron has 543 horsepower, dual electric motors, quattro all-wheel drive and a claimed 0–60 mph time of just 3.4 seconds. But raw acceleration isn't the interesting part. The big question is: **is the new Audi S6 e-tron actually fun to drive?** In this full review, we put the 2027 Audi S6 Sportback e-tron through its paces and take a close look at its performance, handling, ride quality, range, interior, technology and practicality. With a rear-biased power delivery, adaptive air suspension, revised steering, larger brakes, six-piston front calipers and Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires, Audi has clearly tried to make the S6 more than just another incredibly fast electric car. We test the S6 in Comfort and Dynamic modes, including a launch, and find out how well it handles corners, rough roads and everyday driving. The S6 e-tron also offers an estimated range of up to 324 miles with 20-inch wheels, 270-kW DC fast charging, a 94-kWh battery and Sportback practicality with up to 39 cubic feet of cargo space. Inside, there's Audi's latest digital cockpit with an 11.9-inch driver display, 14.5-inch central touchscreen, optional 10.9-inch passenger display, sport seats, Dinamica faux suede, carbon-fiber trim and Audi's clever switchable glass roof. Our tester is a Prestige model with the Audi Exclusive interior and Black Optic package, bringing the total price to $94,450. But there are some frustrations, including Audi's touchscreen-heavy interior, piano-black trim, limited rear visibility, and the compromises created by the Sportback roofline. So, has Audi finally built an electric car that feels like a proper Audi sports sedan rather than an EV trying to imitate one? Watch the full review to find out. **2027 Audi S6 e-tron Specs:** • 543 hp from dual electric motors • 0–60 mph in around 3.4 seconds • 94-kWh battery • Up to 324 miles of range • Up to 270 kW DC fast charging • Rear-biased quattro all-wheel drive • Adaptive air suspension • Six-piston front brakes • Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires • Up to 39 cu. ft. of cargo space • Base price: $79,600 • Tested price: $94,450 If you enjoy honest, independent car reviews, **like, subscribe, and turn on notifications** for more new car reviews, road tests, and automotive videos from @TheDrivewire #AudiS6 #AudiS6etron #S6etron #Audi #AudiSportback #ElectricCar #EV #ElectricCars #CarReview #AudiReview #EVReview #SportsSedan #LuxuryCars #Quattro #2027Audi 15:01

2027 Audi S6 e-tron -Is this the best EV sports sedan?

October 2nd

The 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron has a surprisingly useful frunk — but Audi has made one slightly odd decision. There’s a built-in divider in the frunk that helps keep your stuff organized. Great idea… except you can’t remove it. So while the Q6 e-tron gives you extra storage under the hood, you’re also stuck with Audi’s idea of how that space should be used. And if you’ve got something larger that would fit perfectly without the divider… well, tough. In this quick look, I show you the 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron frunk, how much space it offers, what the divider does, and why the fact that it’s fixed in place is a little frustrating. Is this clever German engineering… or Audi overthinking something that didn't need overthinking? #AudiQ6eTron #Audi #Q6eTron #ElectricSUV #EV #ElectricCars #Frunk #AudiQ6 #RoadTestReviews #CarReview #EVReview 0:36

The 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron might be one of the most convincing luxury electric SUVs yet. It doesn't look like a spaceship, a jelly bean, or an electric toaster. It just looks like an Audi — and that's exactly the point. In this full 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron review, I take a detailed look at the updated Q6 e-tron quattro, including its 456 horsepower, 631 lb-ft of torque, 0–60 mph in 4.4 seconds, 301–325 miles of range, 94.4-kWh battery, and 270-kW fast charging. I'll also look at the interior, cargo space, technology, infotainment, comfort, handling, and what it's actually like to drive this roughly 5,000-pound electric SUV. The 2027 model brings several updates, including standard all-wheel drive, revised steering-wheel controls with physical scroll wheels, updated technology and improved charging capability. This particular Q6 e-tron also has the Prestige Package, Warm Weather Package and 20-inch wheels, bringing the total price to $77,290. So, is the 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron the electric SUV for people who don't particularly want to drive an electric SUV? Let's find out. 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron Specs: • 456 hp • 631 lb-ft of torque • 0–60 mph: 4.4 seconds • 94.4-kWh battery • EPA range: 301–325 miles • DC fast charging: up to 270 kW • 10–80% charging: approximately 30 minutes • Cargo space: approximately 30 cu. ft. / 60 cu. ft. seats folded • Frunk: 2.3 cu. ft. • Base price: $64,500 • Tested price: $77,290 If you're shopping for a luxury electric SUV, comparing the Audi Q6 e-tron with the BMW iX, Mercedes EQE SUV, Porsche Macan Electric, Tesla Model Y or Cadillac Lyriq, this review should give you a good idea of what the Audi is actually like to live with and drive. The 2026 Volkswagen Jetta SEL is a comfortable , efficient and surprisingly affordable German sedan — but it has a couple of head-scratching omissions. No rear air vents. And the passenger seat doesn’t get height adjustment. Two small things that make you wonder what Volkswagen was thinking. 😳 Would either of these bother you? #2026VWJetta #VWJetta #VolkswagenJetta #JettaSEL #CarShorts #CarReview #Volkswagen #Sedan #NewCars #TheDrivewire 1:00
